Abstract

There are still many MSME business actors who have not yet certified halal products, this is due to the low knowledge and awareness of business actors regarding the ownership of halal certificates. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of having a halal certificate on the income level of small and medium enterprises in Jambi City. This research uses a quantitative approach, using data collection methods through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The number of samples in this research was 20 MSMEs and used a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses univariate and bivariate analysis. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between ownership of a halal certificate (X) and income level (Y)
