One of the goals of Islamic law on marriage is to continue and breed offspring and preserve the next generation as contributors to the aspirations of the nation, state and religion. As with reproductive rights, all humans, especially women, certainly want to get pregnant and be able to have children, one of which is a person who is affected or has HIV/AIDS. According to ordinary people, this disease is a very dangerous disease, because it can potentially be transmitted to their offspring. If we examine the reproductive laws for women living with HIV/AIDS, it is permissible. In the rules of fiqh: Something that is forbidden with the aim of sadduz zarî'ah becomes permissible if there is a strong benefit. Considering that even today in the medical world there are already ways to treat and suppress the HIV/AIDS virus so that reproduction can be safe for women (mothers) and their offspring. Namely antiretroviral drugs (ARVs).
