Abstract

The implementation of the achievement development program in improving the learning outcomes of superior class students is very important to do. Because this achievement development program is one of the efforts implemented to hone and train students' abilities to compete in various activities. Therefore, the implementation of this achievement development program should be able to lead to the abilities possessed by students who take part in the achievement development program so that the desired results can be achieved and felt by both teachers, students or parents of the achievement development program. This study aims to: 1) To find out the achievement development program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Ponorogo, 2) To find out the implementation of the achievement development program in improving the learning outcomes of Class VIII Superior students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Ponorogo, 3) To find out the obstacles to implementation achievement development program in improving student learning outcomes for class VIII Excellence at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Ponorogo. The results of the study reveal that: 1) There are 3 achievement development programs at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Ponorogo, namely Language Programs (Arabic, English and Japanese), IT (Information and Technology) Programs, Tahfidz Programs, 2) implementation of achievement development programs in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 6 Ponorogo is good. With this achievement development program, student learning outcomes are better and increased. It is proven by the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the achievement development program students in participating in the learning process and they compete with each other in participating in the learning process in the classroom so that they can get satisfactory learning outcomes, 3) Obstacles in the implementation of the achievement development program include: economic factors, infrastructure, limited time, and lazy.
