Abstract

This article discusses Islamic studies. It is known that so far many people only understand Islam from one point of view, even though Islam can be viewed from various points of view. Islam has certainly become a material for study in all parts of the world, both internally and externally. An interesting study in contemporary times is about interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity. An interdisciplinary approach is an approach in solving a problem by using a view from various angles view of relevant allied sciences in an integrated manner. What is meant by Cognate sciences are sciences that are within a particular group of sciences. Meanwhile, a multidisciplinary approach is an approach in solving a problem by using a view from various angles view a lot of relevant knowledge.
