Abstract

Higher education plays an important role in a country's economic growth. Good quality higher education can improve a country's economic competitiveness. Therefore, improving the quality of higher education is a major focus for the government and educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between improving the quality of higher education and economic growth. The method used is panel data regression analysis using data from several countries in the world. The results show that improving the quality of higher education has a significant positive relationship with economic growth. Therefore, improving the quality of higher education needs to be continuously improved to support sustainable economic growth.
