Abstract

Online counseling provides new perspectives and alternatives in the implementation of counseling services, which are generally conducted face-to-face. The purpose of this study is to identify and understand research trends related to online counseling, particularly in terms of needs, issues, and ethical concerns. Various reliable sources, including Scopus, were collected and visualized to obtain an overview of research trends in online counseling. It was found that several dominant keywords emerged based on the analysis, which are related to needs, issues, and ethical concerns in online counseling.
