Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of children's rights and protection in preventing violence in early childhood education at Nino Kindergarten, identify the forms of violence that occur, and examine the role of teachers in preventing violence against children. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. The subjects were teachers directly involved in the learning process. Data collection techniques were observation and interviews. The results indicate that the implementation of children's rights and protection at Nino Kindergarten has been carried out through the creation of a safe learning environment, providing opportunities for children to develop, and instilling positive values. However, implementation has not been optimal, as various forms of violence, such as physical violence, verbal violence, and bullying, are still found, both between children and by teachers in certain situations. The role of teachers in preventing violence has been demonstrated through behavioral guidance, supervision, and the creation of a comfortable and safe learning environment. However, the implementation of positive discipline has not been consistent, and teachers' understanding of child protection remains limited. Therefore, it is necessary to improve teacher competence, implement positive discipline on a sustainable basis, and support school policies to ensure optimal implementation of child protection.
